In Concert
CATS opens Annie on our stage Friday night, April 30 at 7:30PM. The performance will present Annie in a new way not seen before in DFW. The concert version will present the complete script of Annie and its cast of lovable characters, and all their famous songs - all In Concert!
"The show brings all the best parts of Annie to the stage," reports Michael Magnus, Stage Manager and Board Member of CATS, "but the audience will be able to enjoy them as a concert, with a live band and a great vocal ensemble."
This production ends the 2010 Spotlight Series season for CATS.
This year's production of Annie is directed by well-known Director, Doug Miller, who also directed Annie at CATS in 2002 and co-directed by choreographer, Kelly Songy-Nelson. This is Miller's 11th production at CATS. Some parts of this year's show are played by cast members who were in the 2002 show. Of course, the orhpans, the mainstays of the show, are part of a new cast of actors, both in the CATS student population and the larger community.
Tickets for this fund-raiser are already on-sale at our BoxOffice or online at our Online Ticket seller. You can find out more details about the show on our Shows page and see information about prices on our TICKETS page.
Annie opens April 10 at 7:30PM at CATS Theater. The show will play Friday and Saturday at 7:30PM and Saturdays at 2:30PM through May 8. See CATS Web Site for details.
