This is such a wonderful time - Easter baskets, egg hunts, and special church services.

Decorating Easter baskets and bags can be fun. Make it a craft before or on Easter.

Decorating eggs is great fun and there are so many different ways to decorate. For younger children that have trouble dipping into the dyes, try small stickers.

You can hide your hard boiled eggs or plastic eggs with candy, stickers, messages and more. If you are hosting a party and want to collect the eggs for the next year, have a small goody bag for each child. When they are finished finding the empty plastic eggs, they can turn them in for their goody bags.

(BUILT IN) (Icons/Graphics) Easterbasket.jpgIf you are doing an egg hunt with very young children, have it be a parent-child hunt. The kids will have fun collecting the eggs but you can stick a winning ticket in one of the eggs and have a fun grown up gift for the winner.

Make sure to let younger kids start the egg hunt first if you have assorted ages and put a handful of eggs scattered in obvious spots. You can also set a limit for the older kids and tell them after they have collected 10 eggs, they are finished.

Looking for a gift alternative to stuffed bunnies or candy? Try an Easter or Spring themed book.

  Very Exciting News!

(BUILT IN) (Icons/Graphics) Newspaper_Lady.jpgArlingtonParent.com has record numbers! This month, we have more site visitors than ever in the history of ArlingtonParent.com (former owner & now me). In 10 months of me owning this three year old site, we have more site users than ever. We also have more unique visitors than ever. Compared to this time last year, site users now are viewing over 42% more pages and the hits are over 37%!

This was already a wonderful site. I am very excited to be taking it to the next level. With our proven marketing efforts, there should be no reason businesses would not want to list on the site. With over 15,000 unique visitors to the site since last May, we know parents are seeking local resources for their families. We will continue to let parents know we exist and want to be there for them. Meanwhile, we are moving on to letting more businesses know we exist and that they need to list their business on the site so these parents can find them.

(Icons/Graphics) ladyonphone.jpgPerhaps you may want to help.  If you are a mom living in the Arlington, Mansfield, and Grand Prairie area interested in a part-time job opportunity working from home, please send me your resume and let me know.  No sales experience required.  If you have already sent your resume and did not include a cover letter, please send me a note letting me know why you want to be part of the ArlingtonParent.com team.

Love,

Tammara
